I recently completed the PARACCOUNTANT Association of Canada program. As an accounting technician in an accounting firm, I wanted to broaden my knowledge and understanding of our clients' business files. I also wanted to obtain a designation in my profession to show that I have the training and skills required of a person in my position.

I found the PARACCOUNTANT course material to be very easy to understand. The basic accounting principles in "Introduction to Accounting" were explained in a straight forward manner, from which even someone like myself who works in the field could benefit. As the modules got more challenging, the material was still outlined in a way that every student could learn. The practice problems are great, because it is difficult sometimes when not in a classroom, to make sure you understand the material. If I had trouble with the assignment, I would check the answers to determine my errors, and then try the next exercise. There was always the option to email the instructor for clarification.

I would highly recommend the PARACCOUNTANT program to anyone wishing to enhance their knowledge of accounting and become a certified member of the PARACCOUNTANT Association of Canada.
