About the Association
The PARACCOUNTANT Association of Canada is a Federally Incorporated Non-Profit Organization dedicated to the development of the PARACCOUNTANT profession. The association provides invaluable opportunities for PARACCOUNTANT professional development and networking. It achieves these goals by offering accounting educational programs and other services.
The PARACCOUNTANT Association of Canada was formed in 1996 in response to the growing need for an organization of professionals with the education and experience beyond that of a bookkeeper and accounting technician yet just short of a professional accountant.
A PARACCOUNTANT is an individual that has completed the required education and has acquired the experience to provide sound financial and management information to individuals in the business community. This information does not include payroll as this is left to a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP), or tax accounting as this is left to the professional accountant (CA, CGA or CMA).
Once the above qualifications have been met, and you pay the Full Membership fee of $100, you will qualify to receive your "PARACCOUNTANT" designation.
